If you’re Googling “Where can I find all-inclusive elopement packages in British Columbia?” you probably don’t want a vague answer. You want to know exactly what you’re getting and if it’s worth it.

Short version:

Yes, there are all-inclusive elopement packages in BC that include planning, photography, and an officiant—but “all-inclusive” doesn’t always mean what you think it does.

Some packages are planner-led.
Some are photographer- or officiant-led.
Some include way less than the ‘all-inclusive’ name suggests.

Let’s walk through:

  • What “all-inclusive” usually means (and doesn’t) for BC elopements

  • What’s actually included in our all-inclusive, planner-led packages

  • What’s not included (on purpose)

  • How travel and accommodations work

  • Whether you can bring your own photographer/officiant

  • And how planner-led vs vendor-led “all-inclusive” packages really compare

By the end of this post, you’ll know if an “all-inclusive” package is right for you and what questions to ask before you book.

What Does “All-Inclusive” Usually Mean for BC Elopements?

Here’s the tricky part: “all-inclusive” is not a regulated term.
One company’s version can be totally different from another’s.

Most “all-inclusive” elopement packages in British Columbia tend to include some combo of:

  • Planning support (often light or template-based)

  • Photographer (a set number of hours)

  • Officiant (for the ceremony + legal bits)

  • A bouquet / boutonniere or simple florals

  • Basic ceremony styling (arch, rug, or similar)

  • Timeline guidance

  • Online planning questionnaires or checklists

Sounds great, right?
It can be—but here’s what “all-inclusive” often quietly doesn’t include:

  • Your travel (flights, ferries, car rentals)

  • Your accommodation (cabins, hotels, Airbnbs)

  • Full reception-level florals or décor

  • Permits for certain parks/locations (or they’re extra)

  • Hair and makeup

  • Meals, private chefs, or restaurants

  • Additional guests beyond a certain number

  • Extra hours, extra locations, or adventure add-ons (helicopters, boats, etc.)

None of this is inherently bad. It just means:

“All-inclusive” usually means “all of the core elopement vendors and services for a simple, beautifully planned day”—
not “every single thing you could possibly spend money on for this trip.”

The key is knowing exactly what’s covered before you say yes.

What “All-Inclusive” Means in Our BC Elopement Packages

Let’s talk about what all-inclusive means here, because this is where Sea to Sky Elopements is different.

Our elopements are planner-led, not vendor-led. That means:

  • Your day is run by a dedicated planner, not a photographer/officiant trying to plan on the side.

  • You get an dedicated planner and an on-site coordinator at every elopement.

  • Your photographer (and other vendors) get to stay in their lane and focus on their art—so you get the best version of everyone.

What’s always included

Every full Sea to Sky Elopements package includes:

  • Dedicated planner from your inquiry to “we’re married!”
Supporting you with ideas, structure, priorities, and answering all the “is this normal?” questions along the way.

  • On-site wedding day coordination
A planner physically there, running the timeline and logistics so you don’t have to.

  • Licensed officiant
Ceremony + legal signing handled correctly and calmly, with a ceremony that actually feels like you.

  • Professional photographer
Elopement coverage for the number of hours that best fits your package and day.

  • Timeline design
Built around light, travel, your locations, and your energy (not just a generic template pulled from a binder).

  • Location guidance within your chosen region
Suggestions for ceremony + photo spots that match your vision, access needs, and any guest considerations.

  • Vendor coordination
Managing the communication and logistics with your core vendors so you’re not juggling group chats in your wedding outfit.

  • Day-of details
Little touches like cueing moments, managing guests, helping with vow books, and making sure you’re hydrated, warm, and actually enjoying yourself.

  • Personal florals for the couple
A bouquet/bouquet, bouquet/boutonniere, or equivalent personal florals tailored to your style and season.

  • Hair and makeup
So you’re not trying to DIY glam in a cabin bathroom before hiking to your ceremony.

  • Helicopter flight for our Sky package couples
If you choose our Sky package, your heli experience is already built into that tier—no surprise add-on math needed.

We keep all of this clearly outlined so you know exactly what you’re saying yes to.

Common add-ons

You can also add on (or we can help you source):

  • Videography

  • Extra media coverage (additional hours, content capture, etc.)

  • Live musicians (for ceremony, first dance, or dinner)

  • Additional florals (for guests, arches, tables, or more styling)

  • Additional hair and makeup services (for the other partner or guests)

  • Picnics, grazing boards, or private chef dinners

  • Ceremony décor and styling beyond the basics

  • Chairs or simple seating for guests where appropriate

We keep a clear line between:

  • what’s included in your package base

  • and what’s optional/customizable

…so you’re never squinting at a checklist wondering, “Wait, is this actually included or not?”

Are Travel and Accommodation Included in All-Inclusive BC Elopement Packages?

This is one of the most common questions—and one of the biggest sources of confusion.

Do our packages include your travel and accommodation?

No. We don’t bundle your personal travel and accommodation into a flat “all-inclusive” line item.

Here’s why:

  • You might want a budget-friendly cabin, or you might want a luxe lodge.

  • You might be coming from Vancouver, or you might be flying in from overseas.

  • You might want to stay two nights, or you might make it a week-long trip.

If we tried to guess and wrap all of that into one opaque price, you’d either:

  • overpay for things you don’t need, or

  • feel squeezed into options that don’t fit your actual priorities.

Instead, we:

  • Help you choose regions and stays that fit your budget, vision, and guest need

  • Give recommendations for cabins, lodges, and hotels in your chosen area

  • Make sure your timeline and locations work with where you’re staying

You keep control over the experience level and budget of your travel and accommodation; we make sure it all works seamlessly with your elopement day.

What about vendor travel?

For vendors, travel fees (within our usual regions) are:

  • either included in your package pricing, or

  • clearly outlined upfront if we’re going somewhere more remote

No “surprise” invoices later. If extra travel or accommodation is needed to get your team to a specific spot, we tell you before you sign.

Can We Customize or Bring Our Own Photographer/Officiant?

Short answer: often, yes—with boundaries that keep your experience protected.

Photographer

Most couples are happy to choose from our trusted photographers. They are of course people we know work beautifully in BC’s forests, mountains, and coastal conditions, and who are comfortable within a planner-led adventure elopement structure.

But if you already have a photographer you love?

  • In many cases, we can integrate your chosen photographer into a planner-led package.

  • We’ll chat about your vision, what they offer, and how to make sure your experience still feels seamless and cared for.

We don’t force you into a one-size-fits-all team. We do, however, protect your experience by making sure everyone is on the same page and the planning/coordination piece is still fully handled.

Officiant

Because legal requirements vary and your ceremony is the emotional center of the day:

  • We usually work with trusted officiants who are aligned with your values and comfortable in non-traditional, outdoor, intimate settings.

  • If you have a particular faith background or ceremony style in mind, we’ll match you with someone who fits.

If you want a friend or family member involved, we can often:

  • Have a licensed officiant handle the legal portion

  • Have a friend/family member do readings, blessings, or part of the ceremony, while we make sure the legal boxes are checked correctly

Planner-Led vs Vendor-Led “All-Inclusive” Packages

Let’s spell this out, because it matters more than most people realize.

Planner-Led All-Inclusive Elopement Package (Us)

  • Main point of contact: A planner

  • Who runs the day: A planner on-site, dedicated to logistics & flow

  • What your photographer does: Takes photos, guides on posing, edits

  • What your officiant does: Focuses fully on writing your ceremony script & legal pieces

  • What you do: Show up, feel your feelings, enjoy your people and the place

When something goes sideways (weather, timing, guests, traffic, etc.), there is someone whose entire job is: “Handle this calmly so the couple still has a beautiful day.”

Vendor-Led All-Inclusive Elopement Package (Common Elsewhere)

  • Main point of contact: Photographer, officiant, or another vendor

  • Who runs the day: The same person who’s also taking photos / leading ceremony / doing their main creative job

  • What they’re juggling:

    • Timeline planning

    • Location scouting

    • Answering guest questions

    • Managing the ceremony

    • Creating deliverables (photos, video, ceremony script)

When something goes sideways, they’re trying to split their focus between putting out fires and doing the thing you hired them for—and that’s where details start slipping.

It’s not that vendor-led is “bad.” It’s that:

Planner-led means everyone stays in their lane,
so you get the best version of every vendor and the calmest version of the day.

FAQ: All-Inclusive Elopement Packages in British Columbia

Are there all-inclusive elopement packages in BC that include photography and officiant services?

Yes. Our all-inclusive BC elopement packages include:

  • a dedicated planner

  • an on-site officiant

  • a professional elopement photographer

…plus timeline design, location guidance, florals, hair, makeup, and day-of coordination—so your ceremony, photos, and logistics are all covered within one planner-led experience.

What’s not included in your all-inclusive packages?

We’re transparent about what’s not included:

  • Your personal travel (flights, car rentals, ferries)

  • Your accommodation (though we’ll help you choose!)

  • Full reception-style florals/décor

  • Larger-scale receptions or venue rentals

  • Major adventure add-ons (helicopter, boat, etc.) unless quoted separately

You’ll always see exactly what’s included in your package and what’s an add-on, before you commit.

Can we add guests / extra hours / extra locations?

In most cases, yes:

  • You can often add a small number of guests (within location and permit limits)

  • You can upgrade to more coverage hours for your photographer and planner

  • You can usually add a second location (e.g., forest + beach, mountain + lake)

We’ll tell you:

  • what’s realistic based on your region/season, and
how those changes affect your package price and timeline.

Do we really need an all-inclusive package, or should we DIY it?

You can DIY it. You can also cook your own wedding meal and hem your own dress.

All-inclusive, planner-led packages are for couples who want to:

  • Ditch the big wedding

  • Still feel held, organized, and taken care of

  • Have experienced vendors who already work together

  • Make one decision instead of ten separate vendor decisions

If that sounds like relief, all-inclusive is probably right for you.
