Ethereal Forest Elopement in Vancouver

An elopement in the this Vancouver forest is a dream come true for many nature-loving couples, and as a Vancouver wedding photographer, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture this intimate moment for Zarela and Dwayne.

Jocelyn Bacon is a talented wedding planner who specializes in creating unique and personalized weddings, and this elopement was no exception. She selected a serene and peaceful forest as the perfect backdrop for the couple's vows, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature.

As the couple exchanged their vows under the beautiful trees of Redwood forest in Surrey, I captured the raw emotion and love between them, as well as the stunning surroundings. The use of natural light in the forest allowed for soft, dreamy portraits and highlights the couple's intimate connection.

Jocelyn also added a touch of elegance to the elopement with thoughtful details, like a beautifully arranged bouquet and glowing lanterns. These special touches, combined with the stunning forest setting, made for a truly unforgettable wedding experience.

One of my favorite moments from the day was when the couple walked hand-in-hand through the forest, taking in all the beauty around them. It was a truly magical moment, and I was honored to capture it.

Working with the Sea to Sky team to capture this Redwood Park elopement in Surrey was a dream come true. The attention to detail and ability to create a personalized and beautiful wedding made the day unforgettable for the couple and for me as the photographer. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a special day and to have captured the love and joy of this beautiful couple.
